Spring and Summer Special 2014

Real weddings in the heart of the KZN Midlands!

Granny Mouse Country House & Spa have recently hosted a number of weddings which have embraced every season. Jane and Justin Middleborough recently hosted their wedding at the property and Bride Jane shared her thoughts on the process of a “real wedding” – one that is cost conscious yet eloquent with many factors contributing to creating her perfect day.

In reality, there is often quite a load of stress that comes with the process of a wedding. From choosing the right venue, food and décor to the planning of the seating arrangements and more, but for bride’s such as Jane, Granny Mouse Country House & Spa allowed her the freedom from stress and the confidence to pay attention to other important issues.

“We had only visited Makaranga in Kloof due to the beautiful gardens, but then after visiting Granny Mouse with the staff being so helpful and the on-site co-ordination offered at no extra cost, the stress of planning my wedding was eliminated. Also, we love the Midlands so a country wedding was always an option, however  we didn’t think it would become a reality on our budget, but when we realised how affordable Granny Mouse was, we looked no further and booked straight away,” said Jane.

With a team of dedicated staff it is easy for any bridal couple to feel at ease that their money is being put to good use. “Candy who initially assisted us made the first positive impression and from there Ane’ took over as the wedding co-ordinator and she continued to impress. The Chef also listened to our every need and made the event personal. Ane’ really took the stress out of the wedding for us and Chef did not disappoint with the food or our wedding cake. I did not have to worry about proofing anything because there was trust gained throughout the whole experience.” She added.

As part of the offerings at Granny Mouse, there is also the spa which is perfect for that all-important bonding time for the bride and groom before their big day.

“We came up for a week-end before the wedding and made use of the spa, which we thoroughly enjoyed,” Jane added.

The Middleborough’s were extremely pleased by their experience and rated Granny Mouse 10 out of 10 for service. “We will definitely look at spending our anniversaries here in the future,” she concluded.
