The ingredients and directions for each segment of the recipe are as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/cookie-dessert.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-117\" alt=\"cookie dessert\" src=\"http:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/cookie-dessert-287x300.jpg\" width=\"287\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/cookie-dessert-287x300.jpg 287w, https:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/cookie-dessert.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 287px) 100vw, 287px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Step 1: Shortbread <\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: left\" start=\"1\">\n<li>100g butter, chilled, coarsely chopped<\/li>\n<li>150g plain flour<\/li>\n<li>45g icing sugar mixture, sifted<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon water<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Combine 1, 2, 3 in a food processor until it resembles a crumb, then add the water and blend it until the mix come together. Take it out the bowl and work it for about 1 minute by hand or until smooth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Roll out onto a greased tray to desired thickness\/shape and bake in a preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Step 2: Marshmallow sauce <\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>100g marshmallows<\/li>\n<li>100ml cream<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Warm the cream in a saucepan. Once it starts to steam, add the marshmallows and stir occasionally until they are all melted. Put in a pouring jug ready to serve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Step 3: Peanut sauce<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">100ml cream<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">1tblsp golden syrup<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">50g sugar<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chef Ryan Brand shares his \u201cDecadent Cookie\u201d recipe for the love month!
