The new updated winter menu is set to warm up your cockles\u2019 with a huge variety of options to choose from.<\/p>\n
With the need of keeping up with the latest in food trends and exuding a fresh approach to the offering, Granny Mouse\u2019s Culinary Artists spruce up the menu every year, and this new menu is no different.<\/p>\n
There is a new starter menu, with the following selections – Bouillabaisse, fillet tartare, roasted quail, soup de Jour (v), mushroom and truffle arancini (V) and confit duck spring rolls.<\/p>\n
Moving on to the mains \u2013 patrons have a selection of burger options to choose from, those being vegan, beef and chicken, with various condiments and flavours to choose from as well. All are served with a choice of chips or salad.<\/p>\n
Other meaty mains include beef wellington, osso bucco, eisbein, rack of lamb, oxtail, fettuccini carbonara, eggplant parmesan (v), curry of the week (with sambals, basmati rice and poppadum), smoked pork loin ribs and pappardelle of baby marrow, ricotta (v). All the meaty meals are served up with additional sides of\u00a0creamy mash potatoes, herb basmati rice, thick cut fries, saut\u00e9ed vegetables, house salad, onion rings and butter fried baby potatoes. These sides are costed at a nominal R29 each.<\/p>\n
To wrap up this warm and delightfully comforting dining experience, there is chocolate cherry fondant, warm and roasted coconut panna cotta, banana almond butterscotch bread and butter pudding, a cheese board selection for 1, a trio of home-made alcoholic ice cream and a trio of home-made sorbet.<\/p>\n
