When Donavan Roux & Charlene De Beer visited Granny Mouse many years ago, not only did their love blossom, but they fell in love with the venue, knowing then and there, that Granny Mouse Country House & Spa was the only place on their list of wedding venues.<\/p>\n
Crossing paths by chance, having both been invited to a wine pairing by a mutual friend, little did they know that that night would change everything, as a whirlwind romance begun. Between packing up her life for Canada, Charlene had found the love of her life, and they spent the next 15 weeks on many adventures together, doing more than most people do in 5 years together, and they knew that this was going to be the adventure of a lifetime.<\/p>\n
Although they spent 4 months apart, when they met up in New York, and the clock struck midnight, Donavon dropped down on one knee, and the rest was history. According to de Beer, \u201cthere was never any question in our minds, Granny Mouse Country House & Spa was the only place we wanted as our wedding venue.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tying the knot on 17th<\/sup> November, 2018, Roux and de Beer walked down in the aisle in the Granny Mouse chapel with guests from all over the world.<\/p>\n According to Roux, \u201cthe venue allowed for a range of accommodation options, ensuring that all guests were on-site, with the weekend wedding starting off with a Friday night braai, that had the guests raving about the food, and the catering on the day was equally as spectacular.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple expressed that, \u201cwe so appreciated everyone\u2019s input and assistance over the weekend of our wedding, from the cleaning staff and back of house staff that we didn\u2019t even see, but who make sure that the little touches are in place, to the banqueting and chef team, who went out of their way with every wild idea, and strange request, like it was no effort at all.
