{"id":2353,"date":"2018-07-23T13:06:12","date_gmt":"2018-07-23T13:06:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/?p=2353"},"modified":"2018-07-23T13:06:12","modified_gmt":"2018-07-23T13:06:12","slug":"its-out-with-the-old-and-in-with-the-new-at-royal-palm-hotel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/its-out-with-the-old-and-in-with-the-new-at-royal-palm-hotel\/","title":{"rendered":"It\u2019s out with the old and in with the new at Royal Palm Hotel  \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>They say that a change is as good as a holiday, and now at the Royal Palm Hotel, you can have both, as the hotel plans a massive refurbishment!<\/p>\n<p>According to General Manager, Simon Bailey, plans are afoot to make significant changes to the restaurant, bar and lounge areas, to align them with the new look and feel of the hotel. \u201cThe refurbishment of the Hotel began last year, with the rooms undergoing a number of changes to keep the hotel on trend, and even more comfortable for our guests, and now it is time to other areas to follow suit,\u201d commented Bailey.<\/p>\n<p>Having last been refreshed some ten years ago, the restaurant will undergo significant changes, both in design and d\u00e9cor, which will see the currently open-plan kitchen being elegantly glassed off, allowing patrons to still see the culinary team in action.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2358\" src=\"http:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/8.jpg\" alt=\"8\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/8.jpg 400w, http:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/8-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.goldfishcommunications.co.za\/a\/press\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/8-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The bar area, which is currently centralised in restaurant node, will be shifted towards the corner of the room, to better create a bar-lounge vibe, which Bailey feels is currently lacking in the area.
